Vacancy Announcement (HCAC-7): Technical/Business Officer

The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is seeking to recruit a Technical/Business Officer based in Iraq for a limited contract. This role supports HCAC’s mission to enhance healthcare quality and safety by assisting in outreach, coordination, and capacity-building activities with healthcare organizations in Iraq.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals with a healthcare background and interest in healthcare quality and accreditation and has well demonstrated business orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in conducting basic market research related to healthcare accreditation and consultation services.
2. Participate in field visits to healthcare facilities to support HCAC’s outreach and engagement.
3. Help introduce HCAC’s services and standards to potential healthcare clients and stakeholders.
4. Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications with clients.
5. Assist healthcare institutions in identifying gaps and developing basic improvement action plans under guidance.
6. Help coordinate training and educational activities, including preparing materials and logistical support.
7. Provide basic technical support to healthcare institutions related to accreditation standards and quality improvement.
8. Participate in organizing and documenting training sessions, workshops, and consultations.
9. Assist in report writing, documentation, and data entry as needed for project tracking and quality assurance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Administration).
2. Minimum3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, administration, or quality improvement.
3. Basic understanding of quality improvement concepts and healthcare systems.
4. Strong communication skills in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
5. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to dynamic project needs.
8. Ability to travel within Iraq when required.
9. Must be living in Iraq.
