Job Description and Requirements

Job Title: Data Entry Volunteer FSR# 1
Location: Azraq and Zaatari Camp

Duration: 2.5 months

Responsibilities and Services:

  • Accurately input and organize data into designated sheets/systems for easy access.
  • Review and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Systematically organize and maintain both digital and physical records.
  • Handle sensitive information responsibly and adhere to data privacy protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data needs are clearly understood and met.
  • Regularly audit data entries to maintain accuracy and remove outdated information.
  • Collects and records any missing data from its reliable sources accurately and timely.
  • Understanding data privacy and the importance of handling sensitive information securely.

Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in data entry, administration, IT, or related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with data entry software or database management systems.
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy, with attention to detail to minimize errors.
  • Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data systematically and efficiently.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness to ensure data quality.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines for data entry tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new data systems and procedures as needed

Evaluation and Monotoring:

  • Daily data entry targets and accuracy levels, review the spreadsheet of the entries. - Perform routine quality checks by reviewing a sample of data entries to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Schedule a brief monthly meeting to discuss the volunteer’s progress, address any challenges, and make necessary adjustments to goals or deadlines
