This is to announce that Amman delegation has a vacancy for a Trainer at the Learning & Development Department in Amman, Jordan.

General duties

• Be aware of the LnD’s policies, objectives and activities at regional level.
• Be aware of the main goals and priorities of the ICRC regions covered. 
• Understand the three components of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement
• Adhere to the ICRC’s Code of Conduct at all times.
• Apply the security rules at all times
• Respect and observe the staff regulations of the ICRC in Jordan.
• The employee may be asked to perform other duties not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other departments when and if necessary.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitating online, face to face and blended learning programs/trainings
• Works as part of the LnD team in active preparation for courses, delivery and improvements
• Contributes to the development and evaluation of courses (onboarding new ICRC staff mainly)
• Demonstrates all the professional behaviors expected in the organization 
• Promotes standards of professional excellence and knowledge acquisition in the sphere of influence

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• University degree or equivalent.
• Fluent knowledge of English and Arabic. Russian speaking will be an asset.
• Computer proficiency.      
• 6 years overall professional experience.
• ICRC or Humanitarian working experience (minimum 3 years - and preferably in at least 2 contexts) or minimum 5 years-experience in training design and delivery externally.
• Experience in training a requirement; must undertake a specialisation in training delivery within 1 year of taking the function.
• Experience in working/facilitating learning programs through LMS an asset.
