Description

This position requires closely monitoring political, economic, social, and geopolitical security developments across the Middle East and the Arab world. You will be responsible for the real-time monitoring and in-depth analysis of regional hotspots, breaking news, and underlying trends. You will independently produce high-quality feature reports, industry analyses, and policy assessments, providing timely, accurate, and forward-looking insights to readers or decision-makers. Additionally, you will actively develop and maintain information channels—including networks of experts, government agencies, and civil society organizations—and participate in or lead academic seminars and field research, thereby continuously enhancing the organization’s academic reputation and media influence in the field of overseas research.

Job Skills

Candidates must hold a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as International Relations, Middle East Studies, or Journalism. Proficiency in Arabic or English is required, encompassing the ability to conduct in-depth interviews, read source materials, and communicate fluently in daily interactions, alongside excellent writing and presentation skills. Candidates should possess a solid research foundation, proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and exceptional capabilities in information gathering, critical assessment, and logical argumentation. Furthermore, a deep understanding of the Middle East’s history, culture, religious complexities, and current political landscape is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience studying, reporting, or working in the Middle East, as well as those who demonstrate resilience under pressure and the ability to adapt to cross-cultural work environments.
