Description
Position: Middle East Regional Analyst
Senior Researcher / Middle East Regional Analyst
Reports to the Research Director
Beijing Headquarters / Remote (Negotiable)

Education:
Master’s degree or higher; majors in International Relations, Middle East Studies, Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields are preferred.
Candidates with a background of studying or working in the Middle East are preferred.
Professional Competencies:
In-depth Knowledge of the Middle East – Possess a systematic understanding of the political systems, economic structures, and cultural backgrounds of major Middle Eastern countries (e.g., UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran).
Policy Research Skills – Capable of analyzing policy documents, assessing policy impacts, and conducting comparative policy research.
Geopolitical Acumen – Possess keen insight and judgment regarding international relations and geopolitical trends.
Industry Knowledge – Familiar with development trends in strategic Middle Eastern industries such as energy, infrastructure, and finance.
Language Proficiency – Proficiency in English; proficiency in Middle Eastern languages (such as Arabic or Persian) is a plus.
Professional Capabilities:
Excellent writing and reporting skills; ability to produce professional, logically structured research reports.
Strong capabilities in information gathering, analysis, and synthesis; ability to quickly grasp complex information and distill key insights.
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to clearly articulate research findings to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Independent and critical thinking; ability to offer unique perspectives and innovative recommendations.
Teamwork spirit and project management skills.
Work Experience:
3+ years of experience in Middle East research, policy analysis, international relations, or related fields.
