King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:

                                                                         Manager, Cybersecurity

Job Requirements

  1. Strategic
    1. Contribute to KHCC/KHCF Cybersecurity strategy and governance aligned with industry standards and oversee its implementation.
    2. Assess Cybersecurity needs for KHCC/KHCF and develop short- and long-term plans to meet requirements.
    3. Develop policies and procedures to ensure KHCC compliance with best practices for information governance, data management, cybersecurity,
    4. Conduct internal risk assessments for IT services and applies needed corrective actions.
    5. Serve as the KHCC/KHCF compliance officer with respect to government Information, security policies, and regulations. Work with KHCC information committees such as Medical Records
    6. Act as the designee representing KHCC/KHCF in Cybersecurity matters; serve as the contact point for external auditors and agencies, survey requests, etc. on Cybersecurity/privacy matters.
  2. Manage cybersecurity functions:
    1. Provide timely and satisfactory support service to KHCC/KHCF departments.
    2. Develop and implement an on-going risk assessment program targeting information security and privacy.
    3. Oversee penetration testing and vulnerability detection and ensure that remediation completed in a timely manner.
    4. Develop and implement an Incident Reporting and Response System to address KHCC security incidents (breaches), respond to alleged policy violations or complaints.
    5. Ensure reliability and security of KHCC computing platforms on premises and on cloud. 
  3. Technical
    1. Ensure that all cybersecurity controls are implemented and properly executed in terms of monitoring, analysis and auditing.
    2. Ensure the monitoring, analysis and response to cybersecurity threats and incidents using various monitoring tools.
    3. Utilize project management expertise to execute projects in a timely manner.
    4. Oversee user access controls and permissions in KHCC/KHCF environments.
  • Provide advice and recommendation to leadership and boards on cybersecurity issues.
  • Prepare and present reports to the management of proposed cybersecurity tools and controls, including the effect on all users, impact on resources, anticipated costs and benefits, and equipment, times, and personnel needs.
  • Ability to evaluate the financial and administrative feasibility of recommended solution.
  • Oversee provision of cybersecurity training and awareness for KHCC/KHCF users.
  • Keep well informed of latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities pertaining to KHCC/KHCF.
  • Take part in KHCC Recovery Planning and Business Continuity Planning.
  • This job may require working variable shift hours as determined by the department's needs.
  • Deliver patient-centered care that respects individual values and preferences, engages patients and families in decision-making, coordinating with healthcare providers across different departments, and creates a positive care experience.
  • Performing any related task as requested by the direct supervisor. Might be required to assist in locations outside the Center.

Education and Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):

  • BSc degree in a related engineering or computer science discipline. Master’s degree is preferable.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience for BSc and 5 years for master.
  • Three years of them professional experience in a similar administrative position preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
