Senior Monitoring and Delivery Officer
Contract Duration: 12 months, subject to the applicable contractual terms and arrangements.
Expected Monthly Salary Range: JOD 2,000-3,000
A reputable organization is seeking qualified Jordanian professionals to fill the role of a Senior Monitoring and Delivery Officer for planned national water projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support the development and maintenance of integrated implementation schedules, monitoring frameworks, KPIs, milestone trackers, risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers for assigned readiness investments.
- Review, verify, consolidate, and analyse progress information received from implementing entities, consultants, contractors, and technical teams.
- Monitor readiness investments across design, financing, procurement/tendering, construction, commissioning, and handover stages, and identify critical-path issues and delivery risks.
- Prepare high-quality progress reports, dashboards, analytical briefs, early-warning notices, decision notes, and executive presentations.
- Coordinate with Government entities, development partners, donors, international financial institutions, consultants, and contractors on implementation and reporting matters.
- Support management in resolving implementation bottlenecks and follow up agreed corrective actions to closure.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital monitoring systems, data standards, reporting protocols, and portfolio-level performance management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, public administration, economics, data science, project management, or another relevant discipline.
- at least Ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in project monitoring, project management, infrastructure delivery, program implementation, construction, or performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong capability in project monitoring and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver accurate outputs within established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered an advantage but are not mandatory:
- Experience in water-sector, utility, construction, or other major infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of public-sector project implementation, procurement processes, contract administration, and donor-funded project requirements.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Certification in project management, monitoring and evaluation, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, GIS, document-management systems, ERP systems, or other digital project-monitoring platforms.
