Description
Job Title: Crane Operator
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Industry: Construction / Oil & Gas / Heavy Equipment
Job Summary
A Crane Operator is responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy materials and equipment at construction or industrial sites while ensuring safety and compliance with Saudi regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate mobile, tower, or crawler cranes to lift and move heavy materials.
Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before and after operation.
Follow lifting plans and load charts to ensure safe lifting capacity.
Communicate with signalers and riggers during lifting operations.
Ensure the crane is positioned safely and stabilized before lifting.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
Follow all site safety regulations and PPE requirements.
Ensure safe loading and unloading of construction materials.
Maintain proper documentation of crane operations and inspections.
Comply with Saudi safety standards and company policies.
Requirements
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a crane operator.
Valid crane operator license or certification.
Experience operating mobile cranes, tower cranes, or crawler cranes.
Knowledge of lifting procedures, rigging, and load calculations.
Ability to read load charts and lifting plans.
Good communication skills to coordinate with riggers and supervisors.
Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction or oil & gas projects in GCC.
Valid Saudi or GCC heavy equipment operator license.
Training in safety standards and lifting operations.
Work Conditions
Work at construction sites, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects.
Long working hours depending on project requirements.
Exposure to outdoor environments and heavy machinery operations.
